Share your story about why you considered and ultimately had cosmetic surgery.

I've always had small breasts, but after breastfeeding two children, they seemed to have disappeared completely. I married a man who loved and respected me and my insecurities to the point that it didn't bother him that I would leave my shirt on during our love making. Finally, when we were able to afford it, he gave me the gift of surgery, not for him (of course there are perks for him!), but for me, to overcome my insecurity and be comfortable and confident with myself when I couldn't otherwise. I feel like a real woman now and am so excited that I can finally wear low cut shirts and other garments I felt I couldn't before. (I actually lived in fear every day that my bra 'padding' would fall out in a crowd of people!)

How did your friends and family feel about your decision to have a procedure?

They were all very supportive and excited for me. They all knew how much this meant to me and couldn't wait to go buy me new clothes to accent the new me!

How did 1800MySurgeon help you through the process of finding a qualified plastic surgeon?

I found 1800mySurgeon on a search engine. The Doctor I chose was one of the closest to where I live. After researching this Doctor more I felt very comfortable calling for a consultation. Prior to calling, I completed an online entry with 1800mySurgeon and was surprised at how fast they called me back (within minutes) and e-mailed me the information about the Doctor I chose for the consultation. It's difficult in this day and age to find such wonderful customer service such as this.

Can you describe your surgery and recovery?

After the consultation, I went back a week later to have the surgery (a Christmas present from my husband). Everyone was so pleasant and informative (felt as though I was being treated like a princess) and I was coached through the entire experience. I was told the procedure would last between 30-45 minutes then be woken up and stay a while for monitoring and recovery. Everything went better than I could have expected. I am still in recovery but it has been going smoothly. If I was asked 'would I go through it again?' I would say 'yes' without batting an eye. I am not fully recovered, but recovering nicely, and I am already happier than
I ever could be with the entire procedure.

What advice would you give to another person considering your same procedure?

Research procedures and Doctors, and always go with your own instinct. Don't let anyone pressure you one way or another.

How do you feel about your result?

I feel that I have made the right choice and if I had it to do over, I wouldn't change anything. Thank you Ashley at 1800mySurgeon and Dr. Tattelbaum and assistants! This has been one of the best Christmases ever!
