Share your story about why you considered and ultimately had cosmetic surgery.

My breasts were always very uneven, but I have recently lost 60 pounds and my breasts became even more asymmetrical. My right breast was quite small and normal looking while the left was significantly larger and very flat and saggy. I am only 18 years old and I felt like I wanted a period of time in my life where I had normal breasts, so I chose to have the surgery.

How did your friends and family feel about your decision to have a procedure?

Everyone was extremely supportive and understanding. Some people felt as though I was too young for a breast lift, but it wasn't like they knew the current state of my breasts so I didn't take their thoughts into consideration. I was confident with my decision.

How did 1800MySurgeon help you through the process of finding a qualified plastic surgeon?

I wanted to make sure I had a GOOD doctor. I've seen way too many shows on TV about terrible plastic surgery stories. 1800mySurgeon helped me find a double board-certified plastic surgeon in my area. 1800mySurgeon called me with all the information and even connected my call with the doctor's office. I am so grateful!

Can you describe your surgery and recovery?

The day of surgery I was a little nervous, but everyone was really nice and talked me through my situation. My surgery began quickly and I don't really remember much of the ride home. I was sore for about 5 days, but the medicine I was prescribed helped out with everything and I was only in mild discomfort. It has been about two weeks now and I am living life normally. I am a little sore around my incision but it's nothing a Tylenol can't help. I am off all other medications. I feel great and am so happy with my results.

What advice would you give to another person considering your same procedure?

Please use 1800mySurgeon! There are all kinds of terrible doctors out there and you really should have a board-certified surgeon. Make sure you're getting your surgery for you and nobody else. Also remember there is no such thing as perfection so have reasonable expectations.

How do you feel about your result?

I am still healing and swollen but I already love my new breasts and can't wait to see them in a few months when the stitches are all gone and everything has settled in. I am so happy I went though with the procedures and I highly recommend Dr. Sofer. Thanks 1800mySurgeon! I'm really, truly, happy!
