Share your story about why you considered and ultimately had cosmetic surgery.

I am a mother of two who has breast fed both for 4 months. I felt that my breasts were no longer attractive once I stopped breast feeding. My family is complete, so I decided to go ahead and look into getting back to younger, fuller looking breasts. Breast augmentation was the option I chose to improve my overall appearance. I am very pleased with the results. I had the surgery just one week ago and am still in the healing process, but I can already feel a great difference in my self confidence. I once again feel like a young, attractive woman.

How did your friends and family feel about your decision to have a procedure?

My husband thought I was joking when I first brought up the issue. I explained to him all the reasons why I was serious about having the procedure performed. He has been very supportive and is very happy to see the results. My friends understood my reasons and have complimented me. They are even considering having it done as well. Everyone understands that it was something I did for myself that has greatly boosted my confidence. I'm very lucky to have that support.

How did 1800MySurgeon help you through the process of finding a qualified plastic surgeon?

I was clueless and I had no idea where to start. 1800mySurgeon helped me pin-point the best doctor who was certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery in my area. They even paid for the consultation! I highly recommend 1800mySurgeon to help in your search.

Can you describe your surgery and recovery?

Dr. Lee and his staff were all very friendly and professional. They answered every question I had and even gave me pointers that they had received from prior patients that has helped me in my recovery. The surgery itself took about an hour. I remember laying on the table, getting an IV, and then waking up with my husband right beside me. I looked down and there were my new and improved breasts! Amazing! I knew what to expect with the recovery because of the information given to me by Dr. Lee and his staff. So far everything is going well.

What advice would you give to another person considering your same procedure?

Make sure you're doing it for yourself and not because someone else is pressuring you. It is painful, but if it's something you truly desire, the pain is worth it. I went with 500cc of silicone implants under the pectoral muscle and through the areola. My breasts look more natural and there should be little to no scars.

How do you feel about your result?

It is still early, they say it takes about 3 weeks for your breasts to look and feel healed. So far I am very pleased. I have had no complications and have received many compliments from my friends and family. I'd do it again in a heart beat.
